Call Of Duty: Warzone - 10 Things Nobody Wants To Admit

4. The Best Skins/Items Still Locked Behind Microtransactions

Look, Warzone is a free-to-play game. It's got to make money somehow. That doesn't mean that the way it makes money seems particularly right.

For many players, they'll have already bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare before also getting Warzone. That's £40-£50 right there already, then on top of that, you've got the battle pass, which refreshes every season and will cost you around £9. If you play enough, you can earn enough COD points through battle pass gains to buy the next one, which is a nice little touch.

However, there's no denying that the best rewards are definitely not in the battle pass. A cursory glance at the COD store and its plethora of bundle packs showcases an array of great-looking skins for both characters and weapons, as well as other goodies you might want. These, generally, cost around 1200+ COD points a time (the same price as the battle pass) and it just seems extremely extortianate.

Of course, you don't have to buy them...but that doesn't mean it's any less of a slap in the face if you've bothered buying the battle pass and the best rewards aren't even in it.
