Call Of Duty WW2: 8 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know
3. ‘Photo-Realistic’ Visuals
Sledgehammer Games may be keeping schtum about the next Call of Duty, but it might have prematurely given away a few hints about its direction in a job listing.
The ad, posted on parent company Activision’s website, confirms that the studio is seeking a designer to join the CoD team.
While that revelation taken at face value isn’t especially interesting, there’s a nugget of noteworthy info in the job description - the successful candidate must be skilled in the creation of “believable, photo-realistic 3D models and textures from concept art and photo reference.”
It’s the ‘photo-realistic’ part which jumps out at us, as this suggests the next CoD will be a heavy hitter in the visual department and mark a graphical upturn for the series.
Given that Battlefield 1 is one of the best looking games of the current generation, it makes sense that Sledgehammer Games is amping up its team to return fire.
