DIABLO III Confirmed for Consoles

It remains to be seen though how much difference there will be between the console version of the game and the PC version.

It has been rumored for a while now that Blizzard is working on a console version of the yet released Diablo III. Today we can confirm that Diablo III will be coming to consoles. On Twitter Community manager Micah Whipple responded to the question about confirming Diablo III on consoles by stating: "Yup. Josh Mosqueira is lead designer for the Diablo console project." Mosqueira on Twitter advertised Blizzard was actively looking for people to work on the console version of Diablo III by stating: "Are you a game designer? Do you love Diablo? What about Diablo on console? If so we're looking for you..." It remains to be seen though how much difference there will be between the console version of the game and the PC version. Many PC ports of games just don't do well on consoles, so it will be interesting to see if Blizzard can pull this off. In addition, as of right now we still don't have a release date for the PC version of the game; so there is no telling how long it will take to release a console version of Diablo III that may still just be in the planning stages. How many of you want to see Diablo III on a console? Do you think it can work as a well functioning game on a console?
