E3 2016: 7 Ups & 5 Downs From Microsoft's Conference
5. "Play Anywhere" Allows Cross-Platform Play With Windows 10
Microsoft made the extremely consumer-friendly announcement of their new Play Anywhere initiative, where select Xbox One games can also be played on Windows 10 and vice versa, and you need only purchase one copy of the game to have it on both. What's more, saves and other data will transfer over when you swap platforms.
While the practical uses of it are perhaps questionable (after all, if you're away from your Xbox One, you may not have access to a PC or laptop either), it's still a nice feature to have, and again simply opens up gaming's accessibility even further. What's not to like?
