E3 2018: 10 Ups & 5 Downs From Microsoft's Conference
5. Devil May Cry 5 Is FINALLY Revealed
Though most of the smart money had Devil May Cry 5 being revealed during Sony's E3 presser, Microsoft in fact managed to snag the juicy reveal trailer for their show instead.
To the relief of franchise fans, DMC5 will be a direct sequel to 2008's Devil May Cry 4, featuring Nero as the protagonist, in what certainly looks every bit the insane, ultra-violent and hilariously self-aware Devil May Cry we all know and love.
What does the trailer tell us plot-wise? Well, a new supernatural threat is terrorising Red Grave City, Nero loses his arm, he's got a spunky new female ally called Nico, and a bearded Dante even shows up for a brief snippet at the end.
The game will reportedly allow control of three characters, and will release in the spring 2019 window for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Get hype.
