8. Fallout 76 Is A Proper Fallout Prequel

Ever since Bethesda revealed Fallout 76 last week, there has been intense speculation about what exactly the game is, with rumours suggesting that it's an open-world multiplayer survival game.

However, Bethesda's Todd Howard arrived on the E3 stage and confirmed that the game is indeed a fully-fledged franchise prequel, and will offer up a map four times the size of Fallout 4's.

Information is still fairly thin on the ground (at the time of press), but it's nice to have confirmation that Fallout 76 is a "proper" Fallout game with an actual campaign and not something more gimmicky.
