E3 2018: 10 Xbox-Saving Announcements Microsoft Must Make
3. Release Dates For Crackdown 3 And Ori
A long time coming would be the understatement of the century as far as Crackdown 3 is concerned. With the four-year anniversary of the game's initial announcement almost upon us, an air of uncertainty still lingers in the air in regards to whether the sandbox shooter all about fulfilling a power fantasy will make it before 2018 is up, uneasiness not helped by Microsoft's seeming reluctance to promote the threequel following what was clearly a premature announcement.
The Terry Crews-fronted return to Pacific City will almost certainly be present at E3 once more next month, for no reason other than to provide a final, unbreakable launch date.
As for Ori and The Will Of The Wisps, it has had much less time in the oven compared with Sumo Digital's project, but it nevertheless remains the only other outstanding Xbox exclusive that Microsoft has made public. Given the universal acclaim heaped on the original, having Ori's return scheduled to return within the next six months would be a huge boost to the brand's fortunes.
