In all fairness, EA streamlined their usual messy and smug conference into a revamped lean showcase of upcoming games (or current ones and their updates). Gone where awkward athlete cameos and sleep-inducing E-sports sessions, with instead some decent hosts pulling the show along.
They were so razor set on what they wanted to achieve, that they even assigned a schedule for their showcase in advance and stuck right to it...to a bloody tee.
So while it was nice to see Star Wars: Fallen Order gameplay after the cinematic reveal months back - the rest of the entire showcase held not one single surprise, at all.
Did they even need to drop this during E3 then?
