Elden Ring LEAK: Every Gameplay Detail You Need To Know

The 8 Kingdoms of Elden Ring are linked together by a new, open-world hub world dubbed 'the field', according to the latest leaks.

The leaker describes the field as being similar to Twilight Princess, with broken up segments that lead to new areas. Everything is emphasised to be seamlessly open world, like other titles in the Souls series.

Interestingly, the field is described by the leaker as 'truly special' with an example of how 'you will wander, discover a puzzle, solve it, it will reveal a passageway into a deep dark mine, you'll follow it, maybe you'll need to ignite a torch, you follow it and wonder "where am I even going" and finally it will reveal a sprawling cavern ready to be explored'.

Remember this is its own unique area, and not part of the four kingdoms. It's also elaborated on how the field will have many side areas to explore, plus side bosses (said to be like bosses from Dark Souls 1+2).

There's said to be no towns or villages in the field, but you will encounter wandering NPCs who sell you things, and have their own questlines.

But how will you get around this huge and sprawling field hub world? Well, the answer is quite exciting for anyone who wants to see further expansion of the Souls series' excellent gameplay.
