This anime franchise is a no contest fan favourite, so a video game rendition of its enjoyable zany action seems like an easy slam dunk.
Unfortunately, the former games have gotten mixed reactions because of its mixed bag attempts at the arena fighter genre. This latest attempt is trying something new by putting One Piece in a semi open-world adventure game.
Add to that, plenty of exploration, a suitable break-neck story and plenty of limb-stretching action. The genre will certainly fit the narrative better but is it going to fall in with Namco Bandai's recent average game adaptations?
