It aims to be an intense survival experience with some interesting co-op elements to boot, told in an orthodox top-down perspective.
Reactions have stated it’s a solid, (if not groundbreaking) experience with some creases that need ironing. Certainly, with the extra time in the oven, this could be a satisfying experience for Survival fans.
