Fallout 4: 12 Hidden Easter Eggs, References & Secrets You Must Find

3. Mad Max, Game Of Thrones, Superman, The Matrix & More Referenced In The Custom Name Options

One of the coolest new features is the ability to tell the game your name, then have both robo-pal Codsworth and various other characters address you directly. This is all topped off by Bethesda including a huge amount of references to specific characters, franchises or just rude things (your character can be called 'Boobies' or 'Erectus' if you like). There are around 1000 of the most popular names across the globe recorded that the game can pick up on, but reference-wise you can get Assface (a slight spin on Arseface from Preacher, alongside letting you be called Preacher to boot), Mad Max's first two movie villains Toecutter and The Humungous alongside his own 'Rockatansky' surname, a Game of Thrones-style 'Bannerman', Superman's birth name Kal El, The Matrix's Neo and Morpheus, and plenty more. The full list - taken from the game's PC files - is online over here, so see which other gems you can find. There's an absolute ton, but a personal highlight is seeing Zombieland/Woody Harrelson's Tallahassee made the cut!
