Fallout 4: 12 Hidden Easter Eggs, References & Secrets You Must Find

8. Red Menace - The Donkey Kong Tribute

https://youtu.be/VwCPkO65yNA This year's Pip-Boy has seen a number of aesthetic improvements, alongside sprucing up its general responsiveness and usability in the field. No longer does it take a few seconds to pull up and thumb through mid-firefight, and that's a massive boost to the sheer fun of playing. However, to make it even better, you can track down a series of Holotapes (more on them later) that contain Bethesda's own spin on a few classic games from various companies. The first one you'll come across is Red Menace, the original Donkey Kong-aping platformer. There are three levels to complete, and it's a 'simple' case of just getting to the top. The best bit is following any game you play, backing out will present the option to eject the cassette and take it with you - meaning you can play it directly from your Pip-Boy, whenever you like.
