Fallout: Ranking Every Vault From Least To Most Horrifying

20. Vault 21 - Studying Evolution Of Society By Resolving Conflict With Gambling

Fallout Vault 112

Lady Luck was really smiling down on the inhabitants of New Vegas' Vault 21!

Not only did these Vault dwellers managed to live successfully underground without killing each other, but they also managed to fulfil the quota of their social experiment too.

In true Vegas fashion, Vault 21 was all about gambling. The Vault itself was spacious with plenty of resources, but any dispute or conflict was to be solved by gambling. The winner then earned the right to solve the dispute in the manner that they saw fit.

In 2274, Mr House, leader of New Vegas, managed to contact the Vault's inhabitants. He asked them to be part of the cities' rebuild and this caused conflict between the residents as some wanted to go and others didn't. In true Vault 21 fashion, this dispute was solved by a lengthy game of Blackjack, the ones who wanted to leave won, the Vault was cleared out and it was turned into a hotel by Mr House.
