Fantasy Premier League: 10 New Transfers You Must Consider

1. Alvaro Negredo (Middlesbrough) - £6.5

Three years ago, Alvaro Negredo would have been a decent pick in Fantasy Football. After all, he’d go on to score nine league goals for Man City and would bag 23 in all competitions.

If you’d told a Middlesbrough fan, then languishing in the middle of the second tier, that they’d have acquired both his, Stewart Downing and Victor Valdes services within three years, they’d have told you to go into comedy.

Priced at just £6.5, Negredo represents decent value for money. Everybody is aware of the prowess of ‘The Beast’ and what he is capable of on his day. The last couple of years at Valencia may not have worked out the way he would have liked, but under the tutelage of Aitor Karanka, you wouldn’t bet against him hitting double digits for the Riverside outfit this season.
