3. Be Patient
A follow on from the previous point, the more difficult career mode gameplay means you cant simply give the ball to Emile Heskey and unleash his reign of terror on all manner of defences. Therefore it is a necessity that both in attack and defence you maintain your cool. Attacks can no longer be fixed with a simple cross that somehow ALWAYS meets the attackers head (Fifa 09) and a desperate lunge for opposition balls is no longer the easy way of handling defending. The changes in the style of defence makes it harder to break opposition down as well as put an emphasis on closing down and timing your tackles to perfection. All in all; bide your time and break down the opponents.
What happens if you dont do this: 7 red cards, 8 goals conceded, 13 shots over the bar, a man on fire and Brick kills a guy with a trident.
