2. Iker Muniain, Athletic Bilbao (80)
Dubbed "The Spanish Messi" by the media, Muniain enjoyed a glorious season with Athletic Bilbao last season, emerging as a relatively undiscovered shining star in Bilbao's ranks following an impressive display against Manchester United in the Europa League, whom Bilbao eliminated with a shock but deserved victory at Old Trafford followed by a win at home. He performed so well against United that in October 2011, Sir Alex Ferguson was said to be interested in signing a player the press had recently started dubbing a
"superkid" and "The new Messi". At just 19, comparisons to Messi may be premature; that being said, we rate Muniain at about 84.
