EA Sports have today revealed a list of legendary footballers who will be gracing FIFA 14's Ultimate Team mode when the game ships this September. Players such as Pelé, Patrick Vieira, Freddie Ljungberg, Ruud Gullit and Gary Lineker will all be playable, and will have their own unique look, attributes, and custom biography. The legends will be randomly included in Gold Packs in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team on Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles only. Fans will be able to blend their Ultimate Teams with a mixture of stars from yesteryear with some of today's top players, such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The likes of Pelé, who played for Brazil and is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time, will be made available through the Gold Packs and through the Transfer Market, and can then be selected by players in special tournaments that are designed to showcase the skills and flair that made each of the players legendary. Xbox and EA SPORTS Senior Vice President and Group General Manager Matt Bilbey said of the introduction of the legendary stars to the Ultimate Team mode:

Each legend will be made available at various stages of the season and for a limited time only. Microsoft also announced an Xbox One Day One Edition bundle in Europe that includes a copy of FIFA 14 along with a FIFA 14 console bundle for Xbox 360 later this year, while stocks last. FIFA 14 is set for release on Android, iOS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, Wii, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and the Xbox One on September 24 in North America and September 26 in Europe.
