The FIFA database is crammed with players boasting dangerously high shot power, so it's rather impressive that the Manchester City maestro ranks fifth-highest in the Premier League behind the likes of Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard. Like most long-shot specialists, his long-range shooting is particularly potent from deeper midfielder roles where there's space in front of him to burst into.

Touré's excellent all-around game is the key to his imposing yet beautiful style. There are very, very few players in the world that are so physically and technically brilliant, yet still capable of running the show from midfield for 90 minutes. This, in a nutshell, is what makes Yaya so special.
