Predicted Rating 92 We know that EA Sports arent opposed to giving goal keepers a place in their roster of Legends as the likes of Jens Lehmann, David Seaman and Edwin van der Sar all appeared on FIFA 14, so the exclusion of Peter Schmeichel prior to FIFA 15 seems all the more galling. It's odd that van der Sar should have been chosen before fellow Manchester United veteran Schmeichel as most United fans would say that the Great Dane was the superior keeper. Indeed, when compared head-to-head, Schmeichel has a far better statistical record, holding the best clean sheets to games ratio of any keeper in the Premier Leagues history with 42% of his games ending without conceding a goal. Schmeichels career is packed with highlight moments which make him a Legend not only at Old Trafford but in the sport more generally. He captained the side which won the Champions League final against the seemingly irresistible force of Bayern Munich. In the same season he also saved a penalty kick from fellow FIFA Legend Dennis Bergkamp in the final minutes of the FA Cup final to send the tie into extra time (where United would win). The Great Danes role in the treble winning 1998/99 season truly cannot be understated.
