After signing from Anderlecht, Kouyate went from a 75 rated CB to a 71 rated CDM. He's one of the few players EA have got drastically wrong. A sprint speed of 87 but a short passing rating of 66, dribbling 61 & marking 66 makes you wonder if EA had anyone actually scout the player in question. Kouyate was a revelation in West Ham's midfield last season, a dynamic, box-to-box presence who also excelled at CB for a few games when going through an injury crisis. The Seneglese international scored 4 goals and made 2 assists. A rating of 71 put Kouyate in the same category as Muhamed Besic (71), Karl Henry (70) & Chris Baird (71). Kouyate made significantly more key passes, more assists, scored more goals, won more tackles, made more interceptions, more blocks & more clearances than the others who have been mentioned, but he was also better than Claudio Yacob (77), Carlos Sanchez (76), Etienne Capoue (78) & Sandro (79)
