Rafinha is highly regarded at the Nou Camp and has been ever since he joined the youth structure ten years ago at the age of 13.

The diminutive 23-year-old playmaker is an orchestrator in midfield, and has been brought up with the Barcelona ideology. He knows their game plan inside and out, and is an exciting talent.

He recently demonstrated such ability for his country at the Rio Olympics, as Brazil struck gold with Rafinha playing an integral role alongside club team-mate Neymar.

While he played 36 times during the 14/15 season, he will have been disappointed to make it onto the pitch in only 11 games last term due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament sustained in a Champions League game away at Roma.

He will hope for better fortunes this time out.
