FIFA 18: Every Chelsea Player's Ratings
4. Centre Backs
David Luiz: 86
César Azpilicueta: 85
Gary Cahill: 84
Antonio Rüdiger: 82
Andreas Christensen: 81
Kenneth Omeruo: 72
Fikayo Tomori: 61
Jake Clarke-Salter: 61
Away from the goalkeepers and full backs, last year's Premier League champs start to excel. Chelsea are ridiculously strong when it comes to central defenders. No less than 5 of the 8 available are rated over 80 overall, including new boy Antonio Rüdiger and often-overlooked youth player Andreas Christensen.
Wild-haired Brazilian David Luiz has jumped from 84 to 86 this year, and Gary Cahill has gone up a point to 84. Similarly, Azpilicueta is now 85 instead of 84, meaning he's a much more robust CB than he was in last year's game. Remember that, because he could come in handy when either Luiz or Cahill go down with injury or need a rest between big matches.
Christensen is the most interesting in terms of potential. At only 21 years of age, he has the best chance of becoming world class if you train and play him regularly. Others, like Kenneth Omeruo, Fikayo Tomori and Jake Clarke-Salter, are auxiliary at best and won't see much use.
