First PS5 Gameplay "Far Ahead" Of Any PC

Has Sony proven the doubters wrong?

Unreal Engine Demo PS5
Epic Games

Last night, Epic Games gave the world the first look at what the PS5 is capable of. Streaming straight from the console, the company released a captured gameplay demo running on their new Unreal Engine 5.

The showcase was stunning, finally giving players the chance to see what a proper next-gen exclusive could look like. Epic boss Tim Sweeney in interviews also promoted Sony's technology, saying that the SSD in particular was "far ahead" of anything found on PC, will help drive the future of gaming and is fundamentally what allows the level of fidelity present in the trailer to be achievable.
