Hatem Ben Arfa is a very technically gifted player, capable of the incredible. Unfortunately, over the past couple of seasons, it has been more frustrating than inspiring from the former Marseille man, who has sat on the sidelines for long periods. Given his dribbling ability and technical prowess, Ben Arfa is always a safe bet for a sprinkling of magic through the season at sporadic intervals, but to expect any kind of consistent rewards would be somewhat naive.
