Football Manager 2020: 10 Challenging Teams You Must Consider Managing
5. Leeds
There was once a time when Leeds were one of the biggest teams in England, regularly in the top half of the table and competing for trophies on all fronts. However, poor and expensive signings, coupled with some dodgy management helped catapult them out of the Premier League back in the 2003-04 season.
Although it's taken a number of years to rebuild the squad, the West Yorkshire-based side have slowly, but surely created a very impressive squad of young players, including midfield maestros Kalvin Phillips and Jamie Shackleton, as well as on-loan Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.
During a few test saves, Leeds were nearly guaranteed promotion to the Premier League in their first season. However, they weren't able to handle the pressure that came with playing in England's top division. With a few smart signings and plenty of time working on the strengths of their young core, a good FM player could return the team to their former glory.
