Forza Horizon 4: 10 Best Value-For-Money Cars You Must Buy
6. Vauxhall Astra VXR (2012)
When you hear the words "Vauxhall Astra", it doesn't conjure up the most exciting images in your head. However, the Astra is a pretty good choice for an early car in Forza Horizon 4. Honestly, it looks pretty nice, it's the most modern of the cars on this list, and it's not statistically disadvantaged.
Think of the Astra as similar to the Mini, but not exclusively found on school runs in affluent areas. As middling all-rounders, both cars fill a similar niche and have very similar stats, with the Vauxhall edging slightly ahead.
The biggest difference between the two is that the Vauxhall is classified as a Super Hot Hatch, although it is hard to tell what exactly makes it so super. A better name would be an Above Average Hot Hatch, but that's not half as exciting is it? It's evident that the car salespeople on Forza have the same gift of the gab as those in real life.
All in all, the Vauxhall is a very new car for the 25,000 credits offered and looks like the type to give you a very smooth ride if nothing else. Its best stats lie in launch and braking, making it quite boring to drive, but you can't have it all. This is a safe option, but by no means a bad option.
