1. There Won't Be Any Microtransactions

Legends is completely free for owners of the base game, but if you're worried that the addition of a multiplayer mode into a single-player game was Sony's way of adding microtransactions, then fear no more. In a statement to IGN, Sucker Punch confirmed that there will be no microtransactions whatsoever.

“There are no microtransactions in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, and we have absolutely no plans to add them. All of the content is unlocked through play,” the developer said in its statement.

However due to the online nature of the mode, Legends will require an active PS Plus subscription, but that's par for the course with the majority of online titles in the modern age.
