4. Time Travel, Otherworldly Tech And More Futuristic Elements
With an IP as popular and prolific as Grand Theft Auto, every fan’s going to have their own wishlists for settings, time periods and such when it comes to the new game. In that sense, as always, it would be impossible for Rockstar to please everybody… unless they’re willing to think outside the box a little.
As wild as the plots of GTA titles tend to be, they do tend to stay contemporary and (relatively) realistic. Rockstar have even been known to stick a little too rigidly to the concept of realism (as seen in a few of Red Dead Redemption 2’s more archaic mechanics). This doesn’t mean that they can’t go a little wild with GTA VI, though, does it?
One of the most outlandish theories surrounding the game has been that the plot will dabble in time travel and other more futuristic elements such a teleportation.
As unlikely as this may be, it would be a great way to tie in the various settings that fans have been clamouring for. Imagine the reaction to this announcement!
