1. Dealings With Irish Travellers... Or Playing As One?
A GTA VI based in London will of course include the surrounding countryside, and you know what that means? Irish Traveller communities! Ok, so they're not quite as ubiquitous as rabbits or foxes, but they're out there, inhabiting the fields near the dual carriageways around London. While Snatch helped propagate the myth that Irish Travellers are some kind of caravan mafia organisation, there are plenty of inter-family feuds and colourful characters that'd make them a worthy addition to the game. Having a small side-story arc in which you get to help out a side in a dispute between two families would be great. It could even tie into the main plot by having a family come to your aid later in the game (ok, admittedly that does sound a bit like Snatch, but still). This aspect of the game would be an opportunity for the player to train up their melee combat skills, as you could challenge the Travellers to bare-knuckle boxing fights - which are a big part of their culture. Or, this could give us the perfect protagonist to get lost in London. Maybe the new character could be a young traveller lad, drawn by the allure of the city but having to balance that with helping out his family and community back home.
