Ubisoft has finally made an announcement about the future of I Am Alive, and it is actually good news; the game will be released this year on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. It has been just a few days since the ESRB ratings for the game were announced and now we finally have a release window. The game is set in a world that has been annihilated by some form of disaster and you will be traversing the world making "thought-provoking choices". In addition, Ubisoft included the first new official trailer with the re-designed main character: http://youtu.be/Jl_aTqwMnbc I have been looking forward to seeing I Am Alive unleashed because I like disaster setting games, however from the trailer it is hard to tell what type of game this will be. There are sections in the trailer of both first and third person so it will be interesting to see if they all come together. I am a little disappointed that the game is going to be released through PSN and Xbox Live because I was hoping for a huge expansive world to explore, but I doubt we will be getting a game with that type of scope now. Are you disappointed like me or are you just excited the game is actually going to be released after hearing nothing about the game for three years?
