Kingdom Hearts 3: 11 Disney Characters That Must Feature

One big game with many classic faces - who do you want to see the most?

After years of forcing fans to play the waiting game, Kingdom Hearts III is finally on its way.

Throughout seven games, players have followed the journey of Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, King Mickey, Aqua, Terra, Ventus and so many more, with each game further deepening the universe and setting the stage for a conclusive showdown with Master Xehanort. What started off as a relatively simple merging of Disney and Square Enix has blossomed into something much larger and fans have eaten it up. No matter how big the story gets, there's something to be said for that fuzzy feeling you get every time they come across a beloved Disney world or a Final Fantasy character. Though the Final Fantasy influence may have dwindled over the years, the Disney side of things is as strong as ever, with the series continuing to pluck icons from the studio's long cinematic history to populate the universe of Kingdom Hearts. In the years since the original game's release, Disney has only managed to add to its catalog through the acquisition of Marvel Comics, Star Wars and even Indiana Jones and thanks to Pixar's continued achievements, with each new addition sending fans into theory mode about how characters like Spider-Man, Luke Skywalker or the Incredibles can fit into Kingdom Hearts. Due to their immense popularity, no one would be surprised to see any of this happen. However, with Disney Animation's own history full of untapped potential still there to be mined for Kingdom Hearts III, there are many characters and worlds we'd love to see have a chance to shine just as much as Woody and Buzz Lightyear. So let's set aside the worlds of Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar for a moment and dive into the heart of Disney's own legacy to offer up 10 characters who we'd love to encounter in Kingdom Hearts III...
