London Comic Com MCM Expo Preview

A preview of everything to come at this years London Comic Con.

This weekend will see the UK's largest Comic Con hitting London. Beginning tomorrow for all those early ticket holders, Comic Con will feature some of the most exciting items in pop culture, even if they are all totally geeky! The main attractions will be the huge selections of guest stars, the games section featuring numerous retailers, leading artists and writers from the comic world, the prestigious Cosplay Masquerade and more comics and sci-fi collectibles than you can shake a wookie at. If movies are your thing then what better way to entertain yourself this Halloween weekend with a special screening of The Hike, the British horror will be showing Friday evening for weekend ticket holders and will allow guests to meet the cast & crew. They'll also be available all weekend for autographs and photo opportunities. Other guests include, the cast of Torchwood (Sadly no Barrowman), Tyler Posey (Teen wolf), Aaron Ashmore (Smallville & Warehouse 13), Agam Darshi (Stargate & Watchmen), Salli Richardson Whitfield (A Town Called Eureka & I Am Legend) & lot's more including one guy who seemed to do the voices of all the main cast in Dragon Age 2. The Comic Cons game expo will include a number of popular games available for you to get your hands on as well as previews of games soon to be released, including; The Darkness 2, SoulCalibur V and Saints Row: The Third. Nintendo will also be there, featuring Luigi's Mansion 2, Super Mario 3D Land and Zelda: Skyward Sword. Square Enix will have Final Fantasy XIII-2 on show, and Ubisoft will be going back to basics with Rayman Origins.

And let's not forget, this is a Comic Con of course. There will also be over 130 artists and writers at the 'Comic Village' including writer Gail Simone (Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey) and artists such as Jamie McKelvie (Phonogram, Cable, Gotham Gazette), Brett Ewins (Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper), John McCrea (Hitman, Judge Dredd) and Kate Brown (Manga Shakespeare, Fish + Chocolate). Of course there's another 125 we couldn't possibly fit here, but most of which will have their own stalls in the Comic Village.

Along with your comics, guests, games and films. Comic Con will feature different events including the Euro Cosplay Championships, Steampunk show and the MCM Fringe Festival, allowing you to meet up with fellow cosplayers.

The London Comic Con Begins Friday from 2PM and finishes Sunday at 5PM
