I could write a 15,000 word thesis as to why this man needs to be put down but will instead limit this rant to only 100 words. Foremost, Smith was the only stand out receiver on an extremely limited receiving corps. His quarterback wasn't Christian Ponder but 2013 Pro Bowler Cam Newton. His team finished as 2 seeds in an extremely competitive NFC, yet the guy only amassed 745 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns in 15 starts?! Carolina saw fit to give Smith the boot after 13 seasons and one can only hope Madden give him a suitable decrease too. His speed (92), agility (93) and awareness (94) should all take a hit. I enjoy Smith's speed and toughness but his age is also a factor and I can't help but think this ratings request will be granted by the powers that be.
