1. Playmakers Are Key

With Odell Beckham Jr. on the cover and a host of passing game improvements on board, it all makes sense that playmakers are more important than ever. Risk-and-reward is a key theme throughout the game, and having players capable of pulling out huge plays on both sides of the ball is important. Beckham has been handed a monster 94 Overall rating with a 99 Spectacular Catch stat meaning he's tremendously fun to play around with, while the elite cornerbacks around the league are challenging yet rewarding if you can master them. Madden 16 feels like an excellent game so far, and while minor problems may arise over the coming months as everyone gets into the flow, the early report is that Madden 16 is one of the finest editions in the series.
