12. Nightcrawler

A personal favourite, Nightcrawler has been a staple of both the X-Men: Legends games as well as Ultimate Alliance, and he lives up to that legacy in this third release.

Teleportation is nicely implemented into the regular combat and special abilities, which sees him constantly on the move. The actual act of disappearing and reappearing is surprisingly not as punchy as it was in Ultimate Alliance 1, but this version of Nightcrawler thankfully makes up for that with even deadlier moves.

There's an elegance to Nightcrawler that evokes the opening scene of X-Men 2, and him being so fun proves how much the world needs another X-Men: Legends.
