Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: Every Playable Character CONFIRMED So Far

Overview: Wanda Maximoff has been portrayed as many things over the years: a villain, an X-Man, and an Avenger. That last one seems to be how she'll appear in this game.

Much like her title, Scarlet Witch's origins have changed numerous times over the years. She was originally meant to be Magneto's daughter along with Quicksilver. That changed when Marvel and Fox began fighting over the X-Men license (years before Marvel absorbed Fox and reacquired the rights anyway). Now Wanda and her brother are apparently the results of genetic experimentation by the hands of the High Evolutionary. Okay.

Abilities: Like Wanda's title and her origins, her powers have also changed over the years (is anything constant in this woman's life?). At first, she used Hex Bolts to affect probability. Then she used Chaos Magic, allowing her to wield magical energy. Then it was reality warping. Now it's witchcraft.

In-Game: Wanda uses Hex Bolts to assault her enemies. She can also deploy a healing field to restore her allies' health.
