The Elevating Bomb Blast is the most well-known trick in the Metroid franchise as well as the easiest to perform. In many games in the series, including Metroid Dread, players use this technique to reach areas that are seemingly out of reach.

So, how do you perform the Elevating Bomb Blast trick exactly? While in your Morph Ball form, you need to lay a Bomb on the ground. As it detonates, you need to lay another Bomb before the first one shoots you into the air. While in mid-air, place another Bomb before landing. When the the third Bomb goes off, it will hurl you into the air, where the second Bomb will shoot you even higher. This takes a bit of a practice but becomes second-nature quite quickly. If you time the Bomb blasts perfectly multiple times, you can get reach areas earlier than you should or regions that were never meant to be explored.

Even though you can't jump high in Metroid Dread while underwater without the Gravity Suit, using this Bomb trick underwater can make "inaccessible" areas very accessible.
