NBA 2K16: 10 Teams Who Should Receive A Stat Boost
3. Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers were at the centre of the offseason's biggest story, the dramatic u-turn of DeAndre Jordan. The explosive big man was all set to secure a big-money move to the Dallas Mavericks, but changed his mind at the 11th hour. The media glare generated by such an incident will surely make Jordan a bigger name than he already is, thereby resulting in a 2K stat boost (it's the way of the world, folks). As for the rest of their roster, the Clippers have added some incredibly risky players. Lance Stephenson was a bright young prospect with the Indiana Pacers, but is coming off the back of a terrible year in Charlotte. Paul Pierce proved he's still a remarkable talent in the Wizard's 2015 Playoff run, but he'll be 38 by the time he makes his Clippers debut. The high-flying Josh Smith has enjoyed a career revival in Houston after seemingly throwing it all away in Detroit, but it remains to be seen where he'll fit in alongside fellow forward Blake Griffin. Fortunately for 2K fans, these acquisitions are likely to be slightly overrated in-game, with their key flaws overlooked thanks to their prior All-Star credentials (or in Stephenson's case, youthful potential).
