Nintendo Switch: 10 3DS & DS Games We NEED To See
3. Metroid Prime: Hunters
Metroid Samus Returns nearly made this list but it wasn't released that long ago so there's still time and opportunity to play it. Having said that re-release that one too.
Hunters however has been and gone, and what with Prime 4 being postponed and everyone demanding a re-release of the original Prime trilogy, Metroid fever is unlikely to get any higher.
So the timing for this one couldn't be better but more importantly than that it's a golden opportunity to fix the controls. Much like the other shooters on this list it had an uncomfortable control set up, the cursed D-pad and stylus again. This game was painful on the wrists and the thumbs, it really needs twin sticks and that lovely gyroscope.
That's a real shame because everything else about the game was celebrated at the time, it still looks really good and it has a decent multiplayer too.
If 4 isn't happening any time soon and the original trilogy just doesn't happen then this is the next best option.
