Nintendo Switch Online: 10 More SNES Games It Desperately Needs
1. Tetris Attack
For many modern gamers much of the original NES online collection is obtuse, brutally difficult or borderline unplayable. Many titles are fun to try once and then never boot up again. Even the best of the bunch have been so improved by later iterations that the originals can be something of a chore to get through.
There is however one game in that set which has completely stood the test of time. Dr. Mario may have seen it’s share of graphical upgrades over the years but the original’s simple but infuriating puzzle design is as addictive today as it ever was.
The same could be said of Tetris Attack, an utterly compelling, colourful game of tile swapping madness. Even better, Tetris Attack is a puzzle game you can play against your friends.
With charming music and candy coloured, Yoshi’s Island inspired art, Tetris Attack is more than just a pretty puzzle game it’s a near dangerous time sink. Once you pick it up you’ll be glued to it for days. It would be frankly irresponsible for Nintendo to put it on Switch and we hope they do so immediately.
