PES 2019: 10 Tips To Play Like A Boss
2. Concentrate On Squad Chemistry, Not Player Form
Take a look at England's line up on the left there. Dele Alli and Danny Rose are having a poor time of it, and Harry Kane is in bang average form. Should you be worried? Not one bit.
Those are regular players in the side, and that makes them logical choices from the start. Fabian Delph or Ruben Loftus-Cheek, despite being in better form (as indicated by the arrow pointing diagonally north rather than south) wouldn't do any better than them. Confused? Here's a simple tip: team chemistry is way more important in PES 2019 than individual player form.
Sides gel by playing with the same team sheet over and over again. You'll have to make the occasional switch to accommodate for tiredness or injuries, but it's wise to try and keep things in tact as much as humanly possible. Once teammates get used to playing alongside one another, they'll drag out-of-form pals through the game anyway.
Not that Harry Maguire and Raheem Sterling, both on the same left hand side as Rose, are in excellent form. The same goes for Jordan Henderson behind Alli. Those names will make up for any weaknesses elsewhere because they're in harmony with Rose and Dele's playing styles.
