Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee - 10 Terrible Gen 1 Pokémon You Forgot You Hated
Some of the original 151 Pokemon would be better left forgotten.
No series has ever made its fans slaves to nostalgia like Pokemon. No matter how refined gameplay gets, no matter how cool the latest generations of monsters are and no matter how strong the cast of characters is, nothing will ever, ever stack up to the original Red, Blue and Yellow.
Well, longtime Pokemon fans will get something they've been clamouring for in November on the Nintendo Switch; a return to the Kanto region with Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee!
Though those games certainly look promising, the rose-colored glasses fans look back on the series with tend to block out a lot of bad parts of the first generation. Most of all, the slew of silly, nonsensical, or downright ugly Pokemon that you were tasked with collecting.
Though Pikachu remains the series mascot, Charizard remains badass and Mewtwo remains downright terrifying, there are plenty of largely forgotten critters that make even the widely panned Klefki and Trubbish look cool.
