One of the biggest selling points of Microsoft's console is the integration of it and your TV, working in unison to turn each other on and off. The PS4 has this functionality too; you simply need to hop into the console settings and tick 'Enable HDMI Device Link'. Now, this is specific to certain newer TVs (especially Sony Bravia models) that will recognise and display 'Playstation 4' in the input source list, but it does mean you can do a couple of cool things. One is say both your PS4 and TV are on standby, hitting your controller's PS button will kickstart both the console and TV into life (after you've enabled the Device Link, remember) and second if you're watching regular TV or another input and the PS4 is turned off, switching to the HDMI output assigned to the console will boot it back up automatically.
