Did you know Sony have a dedicated Playstation app? Simply called 'Playstation' it acts - rather like Microsoft's SmartGlass app from a few years ago - as a companion screen, delving into your profile to bring up things like Trophies, notifications, friend lists, invites, the Playstation Store etc. The best of the lot is if you go into the app and pair it with your console (On PS4 go to Settings>Playstation App Connection Settings>Add Device, then input the code it spits out) it'll let you control the dashboard as a mini-remote, not to mention opening up your phone's keyboard as a replacement for the occasionally cumbersome console version. It's great for messaging friends or responding to invites, as well as being a stand-in for any instance of text entry in-game. Brilliant.
