PS5's First Launch Game REVEALED
An iconic franchise is set to return later this year.
While Sony continues to go on a trademarking spree for the PS5, one launch game set to coincide with Sony's next console seems to have been revealed.
Speaking on gaming podcast Sacred Symbols+, veteran gaming journalist Colin Moriarty revealed that Insomniac are currently hard at work on a new Ratchet and Clank game, and that he suspects it to be one of the PS5's launch games. He said:
"I feel like that’s going to be a launch game, the Ratchet and Clank game that’s long been in development at Insomniac”
Though you should always take rumours like this with a pinch of salt, Moriarty is more reliable than most, and his sources have proven consistently in the know over the years. Likewise, it's not the first time he's teased the game, as last April, on the same podcast, he hinted that Insomniac was working the project.
Little is known about Sony's launch lineup as of yet, but a new Ratchet and Clank would be a big win for family-friendly audiences. The latest entry in the series selling well and being well received by critics can't hurt its chances either.
