Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Unsolved Mysteries That Will Freak You Out
9. The Arm In The Swamp
Fishing is one of the most relaxing pastimes in Red Dead Redemption 2, with Arthur’s charmingly innocent side coming out of him as he stands on the bank and casts his line.
If you’re committed to completing the game, you can spend hours upon hours travelling and fishing at the various lakes, swamps and rivers trying to catch every single fish and legendary fish the world of Red Dead has to offer. It can be a grind at times, but it never feels as time consuming as other challenges.
It’s fishing; it’s supposed to take time.
However, you might get a bit more than you bargained for. Over in the swamps outside of Saint Denis, it’s possible to hook a severed human arm out of the water while fishing. It’s only been documented as having happened with John, but there’s no reason to think Arthur can’t discover the strange occurrence too.
Feeding Angelo Bronte to the crocs is a major plot point, showing us the first time Dutch becomes truly unhinged. It’s a fairly reliable way of getting rid of a body, so it’s likely the rest of the poor soul you fish up is stuck in the belly of a crocodile.
