Red Dead Redemption 2: Rockstar Hint at Upcoming Announcement
While this isn’t exactly what you’d call an official announcement, it’s certainly a huge hint at an imminent one!
I loved Red Dead Redemption. I dont say this all that often but I think it might be one of the best games Rockstar has delivered to date. I mean am I wrong? It's surely got to be up there. Thats why I'm particularly excited about this little tidbit from the good people at Rockstar. Apparently in the recent Q&A session with Rockstar, in which they revealed screenshots for Grand Theft Auto V, they were also pressed to respond to questions regarding the Red Dead franchise and came back with this: "We love Red Dead too and are thrilled that so many of you loved John Marstons tale and are excited for more epic Western action. As we mentioned in our last set of Asked & Answereds to similar questions about the future of other game franchises like Bully and L.A. Noire, we dont always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we wont get to them eventually. Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series."Wait, what was that last part? So youre saying that there are going to be future announcements and that we should stay tuned to get them? Wouldnt staying tuned imply immanency, as in stay tuned well be right back after these messages? How long are the messages?! While this isnt exactly what youd call an official announcement, its certainly a huge hint at one. It might not exactly be a surprising hint either, what with how well received the original Red Dead Redemption was received by almost everyone. We will be watching, Rockstar, and probably without blinking so please do make an official confirmation announcement sooner rather than later!
