STALKER 2 Still in Development?
Has another developer stepped in on the game after GSC Game World shut down its doors?
In December we learned that developer GSC Game World would be shutting down its doors and stopping development on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Although later in the month there was reason to hope as GSC Game World hinted we would hear more news about the game in January. Well today S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 fans have reason to hope that the game may stay be in development and may see the light of day. On the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Facebook page they left a message:"The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays,"We still don't know how the team is being funded considering GSC Game World is still supposedly closed. However, another developer may have picked up the S.T.A.L.K.E.R team and is helping produce the game; we just don't know what the circumstances are at this point that lead to the game being revived. We should hear more news about the future development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2; but good news for now, there is still hope the game is being worked on and will be released in the future.
