SAINTS ROW: THE THIRD's PS3 Exclusive Is Free Copy Of Saints Row 2

Though only if you live in the United States, Canada or Mexico...

Two days ago we wondered just whatever did happen to that exclusive €œover the top€ Saints Row: The Third content that was previously promised by THQ to those who bought the Playstation 3 version of the game. At the time it was said the exclusive content would be for multiplayer gaming but the game has just been released and it was nowhere to be found. From the looks of things I think THQ hoped we had all forgotten about it. After questioning by several websites, including us, THQ have decided to respond today revealing that they were unable to provide the exclusive extra content mode they originally promised. To make up for it they are giving PS3 owners of Saints Row: The Third the opportunity to redeem their online pass (within the next 90 days) for a free digital copy of Saints Row 2. This digital version will be available for download sometime next week. A pretty nifty bonus (though only if you don't have the game to begin with), or should we say 'sorry, we screwed up..... don't be mad at us' response from THQ. Though if you live in Europe or indeed anywhere outside of the United States, Canada or Mexico then you will still feel duped as access to download is restricted to only those areas.
